Coordination
The Coordination Hub serves as the core of the FRDN, managing day-to-day governance and working towards the development of a concrete policy plan. Essentially, it plays a crucial role in maintaining the smooth operation of all activities and ensures that the FRDN actively pursues its strategic goals.
About the Coordination Hub
At the heart of FRDN, the Coordination Hub is the driving force behind daily governance and the strategic direction of the Flemish Research Data Network. This vital hub oversees operations and ensures a focused pursuit of strategic goals.
Our Goal
The primary objective of the Coordination Hub is to refine the FRDN's strategy and translate it into a tangible policy plan. This plan serves as the foundation for detailed roadmaps, guiding the network in its future endeavors and initiatives.
Built on transparency and precision, our network acts as a key facilitator for progress in the Flemish research landscape. Functioning as a bridge between institutes, we prevent resource wastage by fostering collaboration and avoiding redundant efforts.
Our Members
The Coordination Hub consists of four elected core members, chairs of the two working groups, and key representatives from FWO coordination. In close collaboration with the case manager of the Open Science file at the Department of Economy, Science, and Innovation (EWI), the hub forms a cohesive governing body.
